Smart Home is a broad term these days. It can refer to iOT devices, networking equipment, entertainment, and security installations. There are so many different brands, that it is hard to make sense of them sometimes, or even decide what would be best for your situation. The AirPods Pro are such a flexible device, that they have set a new standard in convenience and efficiency in my everyday life.

Is it a laptop? No. Is it handy? Absolutely. Can it be a laptop replacement? Well, yes, but only if you approach it with the right frame of mind, patience, and an accessory or two. The iPad Pro is a surprisingly adept piece of gear at filling the gap between desktop and mobile computing. It has been much maligned for its lack of ports, no built-in physical keyboard, and some other minor quibbles. In the big picture, it is really a powerful, minimalistic mobile tool, that could be essential in freeing up your work and correspondence life.

I have had my AirPods for a month now, and I have a few thoughts. Are they necessary? No. Are they pretty? Debatable. Are they convenient? Absolutely. The tiny, previously useless pocket in your pants, will never be lonely again! 

Black Friday is upon us!!! ... really it has been for the past week or so, but for those that want to get out and fight fellow humans for deals on Friday, I’ll leave it to you, and shop on Monday. By now we have all heard about the WannaCry Ransomware attack of last week, that affected thousands of computers worldwide. It was stopped by a security expert, who was fortunate to do some digging and put a stopgap in place. This is not a permanent fix for the virus, nor does it mean you're no longer at risk.
